Self-Test b
1. Cycle the ignition key On - Off - On - Off - On within 5 seconds.
2. The odometer will show the P-code for the corresponding Diagnostic Trouble Code number.
3. If no DTC's are present, the cluster will display either:
A. "P1684" and "done"
B. Or, only "done"
P1684 does not indicate a problem; it's only a status, which indicates that the PCM memory has been cleared
within the last 50 ignition cycles. "Done" indicates that no DTC's are present and the procedure is complete.
P0700 indicates that there are faults on the TCM, which must be read.
P-code suffixes
(M) Check Engine Lamp (MIL) will illuminate during engine operation if this Diagnostic Trouble Code was recorded.
(G) Generator Lamp Illuminated within 5 seconds. |
